Know how calibration works before you buy load bars
Before you buy any load bar scales or scales system, make sure you know how calibration works. Cheaper old style systems need frequent calibration with a very heavy known weight. Every AgriEID load bar system is easy to calibrate: there is a simple video to follow and only a 50 kg known weight is required, or you can just stand on them.
A 50 kg known weight
All that is required to calibrate an AgriEID load bar system. Or you can just stand on them.
A simple video to follow
Calibration is done at the indicator, on your own farm, step by step with the video.
Saved and rebalanced
The system saves its calibration settings and rebalances frequently, so calibration is infrequently required, if ever at all.
The known weight it takes
Cheaper old style systems are calibrated with up to 50% of their maximum load capacity.
Up to 1,000 kg
of known weight to calibrate a 2,000 kg system: up to 50% of the maximum load capacity.
50 kg
known weight is all that is required. Or you can just stand on them.
How often it needs doing
Older systems need calibration after a simple movement by a heavy and active animal.
Every knock from a heavy, active animal can mean calibrating again.
Calibration can become a regular requirement on a cheap set of load bars.
The system saves its calibration settings and rebalances frequently.
Calibration is infrequently required, if ever at all.
What it takes when an old style system needs calibrating
Up to 1,000 kg of known weight is not something that is easy to do on a farm.
Not something you can easily do yourself.
